Photography is what you want it to be. It can be a beautiful image, a made-up fantasy, a diary of personal history or a sworn-in witness in a court case.
Without us, photography is nothing but a purely mechanical image which lacks commentary but with us it has context and comes alive; it has depth and it is protean.
I take photographs to relive the pleasure of looking, in order to forget and re-remember. I am fascinated by the emotions photographs create within us and how these emotions change with time.
