The International Photo Awards (IPA) of the Lucie Foundation is accepting entries for 2010.This years competition is sponsored by AtEdge, Blurb, splashlight, Hance Partners Image Craft, FreshLists, amvona, Lacie, and Duggal Visual Solutions.

 

 

The International Photography Awards conducts an annual competition for professional, non-professional, and student photographers on a global level, creating one of the most ambitious and comprehensive competitions in the photography world today.

 

IPA is identified as one of the most prestigious competition for both professional and non-professional photographers from around the world. There are a total of 8 categories to compete in for both professional and amateur photographers. Photos of all category winners will be published in the award book and category winners compete to win the cash prizes. 

There is a tremendous amount of exposure you can get. Some of pfs! photos including "the Broken Chair" and "Fahrrad" have already been awarded several titles at IPA.

Entry

• Entries are acepted both online and by mail.
• For professionals there is a $35.00 entry fee for single images and $60.00 entry fee for series per category. For each additional category, there is also a $25.00 entry fee.
• For non-professionals there is a $25.00 entry fee for single images and $50.00 entry fee for series per category. For each additional category, there is also a $15.00 entry fee.
• For students there is a $15.00 entry fee for single images and $30.00 entry fee for series per category. For each additional category, there is also a $10.00 entry fee.
• There are exclusive discounted prices for the entrants from several countries.

Awards

• Category winners (nominees) will receive two tickets to Lucie Awards and a free copy of the Annual Awards Book.
• The winner of the Photographer of the Year title receive win $10,000.00, a Lucie Statue, and a Certificate of Achievement.
• The winner of the Discovery of the Year title will receive $5,000.00, a Lucie Statue, and a Certificate of Achievement.
• The winner of Deeper Perspective of the Year will receive $5,000.00, a Lucie Statue, and a Certificate of Achievement.

Rules

• Entrants must be 18 years old or older.
• Digital files must be a maximum of 4MB in size.
• The longer side of the digital files must be no longer than 800 pixels.
• Series must contain at least 2 and at most 5 photos.
