  To take this photo I got up very early at dawn. This was the only possibility for me to catch some good motives of Istanbul without any tourists: You can see pigeons wandering around, waiting for the tourists to arrive to be fed while an old man - the first person awake that morning - is cleaning the stairs of the New Mosque. The square in front of the mosque usually is very loud, packed with tourists, sellers and - of course - pigeons.
