What do Animals Believe in?
What do animals believe in? In me?
Are we - humans - the only ones that worship God? Muslim, Christian, Jewish... What about the rest of us? The buddhists, for example; what do they believe in? We name ourselves the only intelligence. What an arrogance, what a stupidity!
We constantly say that we are the only creature who knows the existence of God. Yet, there are some of us who don't believe in God. The statement recursively breaks its own validty. Anyways, I am not here to talk about God, because in my guess if God exists, arogance would not be a virtue of God as if it is an indispensable virtue of mankind.
Why can't animals think? How do you know that, have you been an animal before? Why can't animals enjoy anything beyond food and sex? How do you know that, have you been an animal before? Why can't an animal fear anything but death? How do you know that, have you been an animal before?
Oh wait; you are an animal! I am not saying that but your science does! Wait a minute; you fear death! Am I wrong? Last time I check, you also think about sexual intercourse and feasting yourself more than any of your passion. Let me guess; photography is your passion yet you take your camera at most once a day. How many times do you eat in a day including those small bites? Now we are coming to the fun part. Can you tell me how frequently you do pleasure yourself - you know what I mean? More frequently than your so called passion... Am I wrong!
Well then, I admit your assumptions about animals are true. Said that, can anyone tell me why you still believe that animals cannot think? Any answers? Maybe it's because you can talk but not listen; maybe it's because you can feel but not think.
If I can think, animals certainly can. If they can think, they possess limited knowledge. And if they know that they don't know much, they will create an icon to explain the unknown; then they will worship it. Why can't I be that icon? Because, whether God or something else, I have my own icon. How can I be so powerful yet so helpless at the same time?
Ladies and gentleman, I have defined you the good and the bad. Both are fictions; your imaginations or so to say your meanings that live within you. Believe me, if you can attach meaning to various concepts, so can animals. Please respect them as if they were you.
