Tea Time by Can Berkol
Confession
Do you think that you are being watched? Do you feel a little paranoid?
Well, you should be… ‘Cause you really are watched. I confess! One day, one time I probably was watching you too. At the end… to analyze every movement and every soul; to wait for the right moment where your destiny meets the right emotions created by the chaos around your soul; it is what I do… to capture the right moment; not you or your soul; but the light and the surrogate it creates… I capture your vision, how you look like at a specific moment, at a specific condition.
Yourself - who you really are - has no significance for me. You are a woman or a man; that’s good enough! The rest is just a time consuming puzzle of unnecessary pieces. Keep who you are and what you are to yourself; I’m only interested in random stories. This time it was a story of a man at a coffee house; drinking tea; a man, a little paranoid. Next time, it could be the love or a break up story…
I confess; I am in search of a definition, of a meaning. I constantly capture stories therefore to define my soul - my being with every “good”s and “bad”s. The reality can go on; but the stories are solely mine to keep.

Notes
The rain has just ended; the weather is still cloudy. I am at my favorite cafe/restaurant. The light is perfect; the time is perfect.
