Candid Shots
Mostly, known as candids, street portraits of random people who are involved in random events is a huge jungle where photographers hunt down their subject at their most unexpected moments. I was thinking -...; why so many of us deeply fall in love in street portraitures?
Maybe it's because we feel strong; and maybe it's because we are hidden stalkers; or maybe it's just because we think. And when we think we observe in order to capture clues and information that supports our thoughts. It doesn't matter about what you think; there is always something on the streets to which you can attach your thoughts.
I believe that we are all philosophers. However; only few of us programmatically note down and analyze our thoughts. If you systematically take candids, you'll start seeing the similarities and the differences between your logic and emotions - and most of the time - like the god and devil, or ying and yang - logic and emotions build an equilibrium while contrasting each other. As we define things as good and bad; we can define human behavior as logical or emotional.
After you realize the dynamics of logical and emotional behavior you can start digging the dynamics of everday life as an organic decision making tree.
Fortunatelly, not as many people know that they are behavioral statisticians. However, if you are one of those who is into candid photography; you better watch yourself because, one day, you will fall in dilemma of acting normal (logical) or strange (emotional) because as you will realize the only way to create equilibrium in a given environment is to mix and to interchange concepts with notions.
Huh! Basically, you probably like candid photography because you have the chance to see a mirror of your inner-self without the need of defining what's right and what's wrong....
