Imperfect
We are humans. We are as good as it gets but never better. We are who we are with all our faults and dysfunctions. The imperfection is in our nature.
Knowing this fact, I never understand the taste or the quality of a perfect photo with crystal clear, sharp focus and adorable colors placed in the pre-dictated golden rules.
Life is random; our acts are random. Why should our photography be dictated? The camera isn't one of your sensory organs. It is a tool that deploys a bridge, a highway from your experiences to your heart and soul.
Do not spend hours to catch the perfect moment; because no matter what you do it just slips away in front of your eyes; and it will be too late when you realize that you have missed yet another opportunity.
The prince riding the white horse only exists in fairy-tales. While you wait for your prince, you only play a role that is dictated to you. You need to give the reality a chance. Open your eyes! No, shut them! Never touch the focus ring, keep things blurred. Never use a flash naked. Color the flash with a filter of your own. Do not delete the power lines from your frame. Add them!
In short, be a human photographer not a prom queen nor a super hero!
