Reflection
Thinking about the past few months and earlier days... Are we trapped in visions of our memories, are we left in the past? Do we ever move forward? Scientists talk about the end of the big expansion - the big-bang. They talk that the days of contraction are approaching. Maybe we are psychologically already there...
"Our past defines our future." Maybe.. Nevertheless, only few of us are brave enough to leave memories packed in a box and to move on to what's next.
Photography is a mirror. It is a reflection of one's perceptions. Everywhere you go, everyhere you look, everybody you touch... They become a part of you. Up-to a certain point they will define you. Sometimes, however, you feel overwhelmed thinking and caring about all your experiences. The past becomes a burden and at that point if you can't let your memories go you will create a life based on your past, depended and contracting. Your confidence will shrink. You will loose your enthusiasm and start questioning your existence. You'll talk less, you'll think more until you realize that slience have captured all your soul...
Your reflection is actually yourself; but you don't necessarily need to be your reflection. You can move on and let your reflection to follow you instead of vice versa.
